Library Media Center

It is the goal of the North Gulfport Middle School Library Media Center to establish itself as an integral part of the North Gulfport Middle School instructional program, to provide guidance and assistance to the students in the use of the Library Media Center and its resources. We strive to teach our students to become lifelong learners while providing a safe and nurturing environment. The North Gulfport Middle School Library Media Center promotes information literacy through educating students about being responsible literary citizens. At North Gulfport Middle School we encourage the love of reading by providing a wide variety of genres based on student and faculty needs.
The Library Media Center is open every school day after morning announcements. Students may come to the library if they have pass from their teacher.

Library Resources
The Library Media Center has the Destiny program which allows the student to access the libraries holdings from anywhere. Students have the ability to login to see what materials they may have checked out or to search the catalog. There are links on the homepage that give students access to ebooks and the Magnolia website.
